For every 5 seconds a laptop remains under a team's control, that team scores 5 points. The team that has captured the laptop does not respawn, whereas the team that is attempting to re-capture it respawns normally. If one team captures the laptop, they must defend it from being re-captured (and therefore destroyed) by the opposing team. The players' goal is to capture the laptop for your team. In Prestige mode, the player can trade in their rank, all unlocked weapons and completed challenges and start over at level 1, in exchange for a special in-game insignia by their name.
